- DROPPED it a ⭐️ bc I started reading it again (2/17/24) and could barely remember it - will have to add more spoilers to this bc none of it rings any bells! 😬😬😬 UPDATE: 4/24 - Even these clues aren’t triggering any memories; all I remember is the locker room scene at the beginning!! 😠
- Greyson: Cocky, rich, privileged; extreme daddy issues; hockey player
- Violet: Dancer with ruined career; Greyson hates her bc SHE ruined HIS life with the accident; total pushover
- Greyson gets into a car accident, causing an injury to the driver of the other car (Violet); he put his date in the driver seat, called his Dad to clean everything up; left the scene of the crime; still got arrested and had to transfer schools (to Violet's school) bc of the scandal
- The things Greyson did to try to ruin Violet at the beginning were crazy-town and hurtful. (
Made her blow a friend to keep her quiet ) - Felt like Violet was a pushover at beginning and just LET shit happen to her.
When we learned she had an actual stalker, it was easy to figure out who based on who came into and then left her story. - Grey’s dark obsession with Violet turned into a version of obsessive love and I was here for it.
- Her kinks match his (Dubcon, Noncon, blood play, breathe play, primal play, public play)
- Not as dark as I expected or wanted.
- I enjoyed the book, but was able to put it down at 80% to sleep…I probably won’t reread but will definitely rec to those who enjoy these tropes.
