- When the title literally has nephilim in the title, it destroys the entire mystery of what Faith is. Huge parts of the book felt totally stupid to me and I can’t believe that her origins were “revealed” right at the end of the book when ever person reading has known since before opening the book.
- Cas and Faith’s backstory was far to dramatic to warrant the way they acted towards each other early in the book. Faith has strong negative feelings towards Cas but they should be way stronger given the backstory.
- This book is multi perspective, but only Faith and Cas, not the other guys. I am hoping to get their perspectives in future books. I loved Cas’s POV chapters, the whole yearning from afar thing he did was really well written.
- Please check trigger warnings. The trauma in this book is extreme, and brutally graphic.
