Ugh! Cliffhanger! I can't wait until next year to find out how this ends!
This book is just my cup of tea! Ten youngsters competing for a place on the planet Eden, making friends and enemies, with life-changing prizes on offer.
There are a couple of lovely twists and a cliffhanger ending left me wanting more - there is still so much left to explain!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this one but I liked it. I can't wait to to dive into the next one.
The Genesis crews hang with the aliens and find out why Babel really sent them there. Part of the crew is scheming and we'll have to find out what they're really up to in the final installment can't wait to see how it all ends up.
Oh THIS BOOK!!!! I had to put this down when I was about 1/3 of the way through it because of obligation reading, but I FINALLY stole some personal reading time to read one of me favorite series ever! Nyxia Unleashed is such an incredible sequel and I’m honestly not so sad I waited this long to finish it because book 3 releases in just a couple months now! And oh boy! Scott and his cliffhangers! LOVE THIS SO MUCH!
This was such a fun sci-fi story. Fast paced and great for middle grade and up.
Emmett and 9 others have been recruited by Babel to go to the planet Eden to mine a mysterious substance known as Nyxia. Only the top 11 competitors will be allowed on Eden so the 12 teens must compete against each other to earn a spot. Not everything is as it seems though and Babel has tricks up their sleeve.
MBOB selection 2020/2021. Story was fast paced and interesting. Plot kept me on my toes with some unexpected twists. It definitely reminds me a little bit of Ender's Game with teens competing against each other.

Emmett and the Genesis team arrive on Eden. There, they meet the Adamites, which they come to know as the Imago. Emmett and his friends mine nyxia and discover that Babel has hidden away marines on their bases. The Gensis team decides that Babel has ulterior motives and works with the Imago to defeat them.
The world building in this book wasn't quite as good as the first book. It probably doesn't help that I accidentally read this and the sequel out of order. An enjoyable read but some things were messed up having read book 3 first.

This book reminded me of the Hunger Games in outer space. The friendships and characters are extremely well done and you really feel connected to them.
There are so many twist and turns in Nyxia that I never saw coming and sucked me in even further. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.
