This was sutch a better mystery than the first book in the series. The mystery was harder to try to crack and had me guessing until the end.

An enjoyable story with some nice little twists and turns. I liked that this was a book about a book.
I feel like the work relationship between Strike and Robin also added a nice dimension to the story.

These books are excellent. Very well delivered. With an intelligent and interesting main character and (for me anyway) no hope of guessing the outcome until it's revealed.

The last third of the book was my favorite. I loved the setup and unraveling of this mystery. There were some parts of this one that I read faster simply to get through them. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

I loved it! It was just as entertaining as The Cuckoo's Calling, but something I loved even more in this book was all of the gossiping and backstories Cormoran heard from all of the suspects. There's great dialogue and it's so much fun following Cormoran interview people.
