This was an enjoyable fast paced book. Some of the decisions of the characters were questionable. However, it added tension to the story.

I have received this ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Hateful Union is the 5th installment of the Made series. After meeting Malcolm in the previous books, I was initially pretty excited to watch him fall in love. Then I met Raylee and eh - she was okay. A tad annoying and a little whiny in the beginning but she eventually became likable in my eyes. Eventually.

The drama throughout this book was a smidge overdramatic. The assumptions made and the slightly toxic relationship were also kind of hard to digest but I kept with the book. I mean, I really enjoy this series and the mafia families just keep growing. So it's a little weird to feel so annoyed with this one.

Even after the ending, it was cute but also rubbed me the wrong way a little bit. I'm definitely intrigued to see what is going to happen next. Especially since we've read about what happened to Destiny a couple of times. So, yeah, let's hope the next one is better.

I frekaing love a bada$$ female MC that literally doesn’t take crap from anyone and she doesn’t care who you are and always has a snarky reply and that is exactly who you get with Raylee. Malcolm and Raylee were made for one another. Their chemistry is explosive and their passion is straight fire. These two are so realistic and you feel like you are going through every motion with them right alongside. This is one of those stories where not everything is as it seems and as the story progresses you get to see that. This is one amazing story and one epic ride. Definite must read.

Mal and Raylee’s story. Dual POV. Enemies to lovers (instant attraction but they do hate each other at first). A lot of mystery for this storyline and the plot was full of twists and turns. Plot wise I think this is my favorite so far. Timeline does go back and overlap with previous books. These books also do a great job of making you really want the next Gallagher story. So excited Finn is next.
