This is a very cute book with a beautiful illustration style. The pace of the romance made it fall a little flat for me, but overall I enjoyed it. It has a lovely plot, relatable characters, and strong (positive) messages.

I love this graphic novel. It’s very sweet and wholesome. A girl falling in love with a girl from the sea. They’re each dealing with a lot and becoming their true selves. I think a lot of young women would be inspired by this book and feel validated about who they love and who they are. I can’t wait to recommend to my students. It’s a super fast read too! I finished it in a day!

The perfect summer graphic novel. This was so adorable. The artwork was absolutely beautiful. The story and plot were entertaining and while it was a quick read it was really detailed. The characters were amazing and I liked seeing all the different sketches of them at the end.
