I really enjoyed this series! I loved the characters, the plot and the development. However, the ending of this book almost ruins the whole series. I didn't want to read a 100 page epilogue about them buying a house, finding out she's pregnant, going to appointments.... I hate the pregnancy trope as is and then to have it be pretty much the whole ending of the story was rough. I ended up skimming the the last few chapters. The spicy scenes were amazing though!! Instead of reading about pregnancy, I would have rather had more scenes with her and the guys all together.

5/5 I am not ready for Story, Killian, Tristian, and Dimitris story to be done!! I love the growth of each of the characters together and individually!
Now, THAT is how you end a series!
The drama, the angst, ugh the STEAM! I was sooo into it every step of the way.
I especially loved Killian's character development. How at the start of the series he absolutely hated her and then now, how slowly he can't even imagine hurting her. And Tristan, the sweetest of them all. His veganism is something I adore about him for some odd reason. And Rath, gosh him.
The boys are obsessive, and possessive and all of them are lovable in their own ways. And Story? Ya'll, I loved how unhinged she got after each book. But also, she came into her own.
And the stalker? I kinda was so surprised at the reveal and at the same time, I wasn't? Idk, I really expected some big ass douche to be the culprit only to get what we got. So unexpected but so in character of the stalker.
I am a sucker for HEAs and epilogues and I lovedddd this one too. Though it was a little too extended. And Killian? Somehow I loved him even more after that ending

great until it wasn’t
The epilogue was insanely long. It lost a whole 1.5 stars for me.
Great twist. Great story (hehe).
Enjoyed reading it. Keen for the other ones too.

DNF - I reviewed the series on book 1 but yeah no this series was not for me
*re-read* 4.5 stars. Listen these books are formative for me, part of my all time / god tier books. I’m so invested in the characters from the jump. The light and shade in the writing is perfect. Killian Payne is indeed DADDY.

Much like the first two books in this trilogy, there is a cohesive and interesting story in between the (dare I say, too frequent) sex scenes. I was just a bit let down by the pay off.

THOUGHTS (spoiler-lite™)
The Good:
✅ How Story interacts with the three boys now that they're in a consensual relationship.
✅ How Story interacts with the three boys now that they're in a consensual relationship.
Even though the four of us are on different terms, they're still who they are. Killian still wants in, Tristian still wants to watch, and Dimitri still wants to manipulate.
I just know how to handle them now.
✅ How the three boys interact with Story now that they're in a consensual relationship.
I've been claimed before, with knives and trackers and bruises and marks. But never gently, proudly, formally.
But the best part of her, by far, is that she’s awake for what happens next.
✅ How the three boys interact with each other now that they're... whatever the boys are to each other. I especially love how domestic Rath and Tris became around each other. (Snuggling under the blankets with Story? Interlacing their fingers while they all cuddle? I ate that shit up.)
The Bad:
❌ The sex scenes (while all still very hot) feel a bit repetitive now that we've levelled the playing field.
❌ The titles of the trilogy being shoehorned into the conclusion??? It just... no-one talks like that???
Over the years, we’ve weaved together the pain of love, the wrath of loss, and the mercy of forgiveness.
❌ Once again, this really could've used a final edit. There's a lot of punctuation missing, and we can't seem to settle on the spelling of Vivienne/Vivian's name??
❌ We lowkey revert back to the misogynistic bullshit that I hated in the first book. I thought we'd grown past this shit, Story.
The dress might not have been worth six-hundred-dollars, but making Autumn witness me living the life she so desperately craved? That was worth every cent.
❌ Okay, the BIGGEST gripe I have (and it's honestly responsible for like a whole star being dropped off my rating) is the bajillion page epilogue! It's not even marked as an epilogue; it's like the third-act resolution got shoved into the second act, and the final third of the book became this boring, repetitive, happily-ever-after where we just watch the gang
5.0 🌶️
→ explicit
→ consensual (finally) but still a little taboo
→ plentiful
