This book was good but could use some polish, perhaps a decent editor to really help it achieve its full potential. It was short and could have been fleshed out a little bit was satisfying nonetheless.

Safety alert! Contrived MFM scene.

I would have given this a 4-4.5 rating if it wasn’t for the truly horrible editing. It repeatedly threw me out of the story.
Besides that, Biting Back was a very interesting world and I enjoyed the shifter/motorcycle merge.
