Nicola Yoon novels are written with short and delicate captures that keep you reading. Though it contained a variety of familiar tropes on new meetings, romance, family and personal aspirations, the less sophisticated approach made it an easy and worthwhile read. It's also refreshing in a YA novel to read the perspectives of parents too--understanding that they're also humans who believed, doubted and wronged like their children.
Main takeaway? That in life, we are bound to make right and painful decisions to attain our happy ones.
NOTE: Despite being a way-too-good-to-be-true person, Daniel is that book character you can literally ignore for being too idealistic but is blessedly charming to persuade you otherwise. A kind of humor we sort of need at least once.

not here for the science talk. just give me the ROMANCEE
I'm new to Nicola Yoon's writing style, maybe that's the reason I'm not entirely into it.

i really tried to finish this book but i just couldn't.
i couldn't even figure out what the plot of this book was. like what was it even about. i feel like it was a good idea just not executed in the right way. daniel was blatantly sexist but it was overlooked since his brothers sexism was worse. natasha and daniel talked/thought about having sex multiple times which was really weird considering i'm pretty sure they were both minors but correct me if i'm wrong.

Co to jako bylo za konec. Chtěla jsem dát pět hvězdiček, ale těch posledních pár stránek mě fakt rozsekalo.
