Yeah this wasn't the book for me. I was honestly bored out of my mind and I found the story to be one that gave us no real resolution after grinding through 177 pages that ultimately felt like 577. This is obviously a book that has received high praise over the years but I'm finding it really hard to believe why. I guess others have interpreted the book as a whole differently than I have but based on the premise and what was to be expected, at the end I just didnt see the point of it all. As we follow the journey of the main character, she's trying to understand this new world and come to grips with her new reality after the events early in the book but as we follow along with her, that journey ended up baring no fruit imo. Like I said maybe it all just went over my head but I was interested enough throughout to see things through to the end but I was disappointed as no real outcome or explanation of this vast dystopian (?) world was given.
