A very sweet and charming book. Perfect to read in the spring or summer. It has the same vibes as L. M. Montgomery's works, specifically the pure love for nature and child innocence. 

Very lovely characters who do a lot of growing up and changing. Dickon is by far the best fictional character ever! What a guy. Very nicely written and though I wasn't super in the mood to read a children's book (I was when I started but I lost the vibe in the middle, not the boos fault which is why I continued to read it) the strong character development and wonderful descriptions of the garden kept me intrigued. 

Definitely one to read again and again.
