Make the Yuletide Gay 1/5
I'm not a fan of the writing style and there was just so much going on here - context being crammed in all over the place, very smut heavy, oddly strong feelings/reactions over certain details, etc. Overall, I just don't think this one works as a short story.

Only Yours 2/5
The concept was fun and, in my opinion, could have been executed very well as a Nochebuena treasure hunt (would have gladly accepted the “prize” being her waiting in the hotel room or at the hotel restaurant). In actuality it was just a bit boring to me.

At this point I just didn’t have it in me to keep reading. The stories weren’t captivating and the characters lacked chemistry.

I loved the variety we got from these stories. They were sweet, cute, and spicy.

Love that this book was out of my comfort zone, with storylines. I dont always read LGBTQ storylines, i love M/F stories because its what i can relate too, but I have to say I enjoyed them. Some more than other, but definitely loved how each author came together to tell a beautiful story of different loves coming together!

Individual & beautifully connected

I was seven novellas in before I realized each story was a retelling of the vignettes of Love Actually. I recognized the overall concept from the start, but not the actual plot lines, which is more of a testament to the beauty of each authors’ writing and storytelling than it is to my lack of comprehending the introduction. Each story is rich with love and character and family and culture. What a lovely way to spend my Christmas holiday, immersed in these interconnected families and love stories.

This is an anthology featuring several couples and throuples at that find love (and many a lot of intimacy) leading up to Nochebuena.

I liked that each story was quick, different but that characters overlapped and the last story brought everyone together under one roof.
