On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, an audio ARC of a Latino holiday anthology!
*An ARC was provided by the publisher in exchange for an honest review*
Usually, I am not a fan of short story anthologies. I like to soak in books like I'm taking a warm bath- basically, I'm obsessive and usually want as much time with characters and stories as I can get. However, this cute, funny (and yes, steamy) collections of Latino love stories was exactly what I needed to ring in the holiday season. I loved how all the stories connected to a singular noche buena party at the end- found family is my favorite trope of all time and this delivered.
This book is perfectly paired with peppermint hot cocoa, fuzzy socks, and a needy cat who doesn't understand that he's not supposed to yell while mom listens to her audiobooks. :)

this was something!! i loved the holiday vibes and actually really liked that they were short stories. some of them were a little boring, but overall this collection was
Yes, this is what it sounds like! A more inclusive/less problematic/LGBTQ-friendly play on the movie "Love Actually".
I was looking for a fun holiday romance to listen to to get me into the Christmas Spirit and came across this title. I jumped right in. While it was definitely festive, it was also incredibly raunchy with a high smut factor. There's nothing at all wrong with that, it just isn't my cup of tea for books, and not what I was expecting from my Yuletide Rom-Com.

Make the Yuletide Gay by Adriana Herrera- 4.5 stars I really loved how the author managed to build such full characters in just a few chapters. I loved these two and would definitely love to spend more time with them and this world that Adriana has created.
Only Yours by Sabrina Sol- 4 stars, I’ve never read anything by Sabrina Sol but this was a delight! little disappointed that it ends right when they finally kiss but still a very good read
Meet Me Under the Mistletoe by Priscilla Oliveras- 3 stars, widow stories are always hard for me and I never really enjoy them.
All I Want for Nochebuena by Alexis Daria- 4.5 stars, really cute read! I love that this was centered around two sex workers and was so sex positive.
Santa’s Eager Little Helper by Mia Sosa-4.5 stars very cute! I love how even though this was like 4 chapters I feel like i got a whole story out of it. Especially with the characters, who I really, really liked! I would have loved to stay longer with these two!
The Nochebuena Dating Dare by Diana Munoz Stewart- 2.5 stars, eh idk it was ok but i just couldn’t get into it as much as i wanted to.
Love in spanglish by Zoey Castile- 2 stars, it took me wayy too long to get interested in this novella. but the steam was nice.
To Us, You are Perfect by Alexis Daria and Adriana Herrera- 3.5 stars really cute but it felt like such a tease! Definitely could have read more about this trip
The Great Holiday Escape by Zoey Castile- 3 stars, cute but I think this one might have been the romance that I believed in the least. It was all just so fast and there really was no buildup, idk if I believed they’d make it long term but they’re cute together in the short chapters we get.

This holiday anthology is a set of short stories that lead up to a nochebuena party. It is also based on the movie Love Actually. I really enjoyed all the stories! They each were unique in their own way and each had a different level of spice. There was a few LGBT+ love stories along with a lot of representation for the latine community! I highly recommend this great book!

I enjoyed this collection of retellings. Love Actually is one of my fave Christmas movies, so was excited to see this. I loved the unique changes to each story, which brought new life into them and also brought the stories into the current year. I’d like to see this made into a movie now 😆 also, I’m going to need the mayor.
I love that it’s all latinx holiday romance.. with lots of queer and poly characters with some fun scenes. But I forgot that I just don’t like short stories Lolol. I wanna know what happens to some of these characters after the short story ends

Love in Spanglish was my favorite. Some of the short stories felt too short, like they didn't have enough time to actually resolve the stories
