I was reading it for bookclub until I realised I couldn't attend that meeting. It was fun but it did not grip me enough for me to keep on reading it irrespective of bookclub commitments.

That said, as someone who really does not enjoy books with talking non-human animals, I really liked how that was done in this book. It was somewhat plausible in a distant (or near, who knows!) future. I might pick it up again someday.
