3.5 rounded up because I’m still debating
Lets start with this - Kealan could very well become my favorite horror novella writer. He captures a part of the horror that comes with losing a child pretty well and then twists it into this narrative. His writing was phenomenal. The ending, though, was okay? I’m not sure where else it could have gone but I was expecting something different for some reason.

This was a good time and I enjoyed this book. It raised some interesting questions, has some spooky vibes, and is short and sweet. It does give away too much for my liking, but did something I surprisingly wasn't expecting so that was fun. I personally didn't think it was scary but it was interesting.

I don't know. It was just okay. I had super high expectations for Sour Candy but after reading that idk. I liked the ending of this though.
