I really like some of these! They’re quite interesting. I love the songlike qualities that some of these have and the fact that you can recognize that some of these even turned into their songs is super cool.

This collection lived up to my expectations and more. I was glad to see some of my favorite lyrics expanded upon. I was even more thrilled to see she included "A Story Like Mine" which lives in my heart and haunts my mind. It's lyrical and beautiful and absolutely wrenching. I can't praise this book enough.

Poetry is not really my thing, but I quite like this, though some of the poems felt very similar and some seemed unable to get any point across. There was a handful that really did strike me, but most of them were not really noteworthy, in my opinion.

A very unique kind of poetry! Halsey's style is different from anything else I've read. Though some of it did go over my head at times, I still enjoyed this collection thoroughly. I will have to read it again in the future once I'm older and wiser. Nonetheless, an enjoyable read. And I liked that there were some lyrics from her songs included in it too.

The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star rating was because I was really hoping to see some original artwork from Halsey inside. That and not all of the pieces spoke to me, but there were more than a few that struck a heart string.
