I thought this book was good but it moved along slower than the other books in this series and without really being connected to Cole security like the other men and women in the books were it was questionable where it was going to go and if it even needed to be apart of the series until the end with a total plot twist. Some parts were intense, predictable, laughable and emotional but I didn’t love this couples love story as much as some of the others in this series

Corinne and I will absolutely be having some words because there is now way she’s going to make me cry in the first 5% of a book and not answer for it.

The indefinite duet series follows Quinn Miller, a dedicated SEAL, and Ashton, an embryologist in New York. Quinn and Ashton have a complicated history and after he walks away from her one too many times, she decides to finally move on. That is, until Quinn has a near death experience and is finally ready to admit to himself that the only thing he wants in this life is Ashton. But, is he too late?

The groveling in this book is TOP TIER. I was absolutely not having ANY of Quinn at the beginning of the book, because well… my girl Ashton deserved better than that. But man, did he grovel and show her that he would do anything to have her. He definitely softened me up the more I read.

I love the stubbornness from both of the main characters in this book. Their story felt so real and raw because of the emotion and conflict between the two of them. As a reader, we were able to feel just how devastating it was for Ashton to still love him when all she wanted was to hate him.

But, in true Corinne fashion… the duet wouldn’t be a duet without utter heartbreak. Which we all saw coming.

-Military Romance
-Second Chance
-Surprise Pregnancy

Finally Quinn is getting his shit together and fighting for Ash.
Ash has every right to reject Quinn as much as she wants, he never put her first before, so why would she believe him now?
In my opinion he could have grovel more.
Cole security problems continue and what is causing all of them is still a mystery.

It feels so freaking good to be back in The Salvation Series! I have been waiting and waiting for this book to release and it definitely did not disappoint.

I am not sure how Ms. Michaels' does it but with every new book I read, I am entranced by her writing even more. She has a way of making you fall in love with her characters and their stories.

Quinn and Ashton's story is exactly what I was waiting for. It is pure perfection that I could not put down. I just need to read Infinite... like now!

This was kind of meh for me. The hero is a bit of a jerk, and I thought I'd scream if I heard the heroine whine about wanting a baby one more time. I did like the surprise pregnancy angle though. I will probably read the conclusion of the story at some point, but it's not high up on my TBR pile.

“I was never an idiot who didn’t love you. I was an idiot who didn’t tell you.”

- Second chance
- Surprise pregnancy
- Navy SEAL MMC & embryologist FMC
- Cliffhanger ending
- Dual POV

It was a bit slow to start, with Ashton deciding to have a baby on her own when Quinn leaves for another tour. But then things got interesting when he returned and chose her. If you want a man who grovels HARD, this is the book for you. The cliffhanger ending will also have you reaching for the next book immediately, so... BRB.

This was probably my second favorite of the whole series. The ending was such a cliffhanger. I love that we’re finally getting to the end and all the books have tied together.
