Ähm... Yeah... No.

A truck driver comes across a young woman who has just lost everything she owns.

Didn't so much like the overall concept, to be honest.
Young damsel in distress needs a hero. And thank god, while there are some creepy dudes who check her out in the diner, there is also a guy who checks her out, too, but you know, with this guy it's fine cause he doesn't seem AS creepy AS the others.
To me, he still seemed creepy af cause 1) he was looking for a quick lay, and 2) flirting with the waitress while checking out the heroine. Even though (!) he mentions that the waitress lacked something in his opinion (he even tells us she's wearing too much make-up - yeah, thanks for that info but I am so over guys telling women what to do to be attractive!). So naturally he wanted to get closer to the young woman, i.e. the heroine.

So, 14% into the story and I had to quit...
All of that was a bit too much for me.
Plus, the heroine is really shy but then she was also angry that a guy she didn't know was flirting with the waitress while also locking eyes with her.
Girl, just get out of there...
Not to mention that her car got stolen, that her stuff was thrown out by the thieves and she doesn't look for all of that (except for the things she got from the police officer)

...
Guess I'll rest my case.

Oh yeah, writing style. Sorry
It was okay but I was a bit annoyed that a part of every scene ist retold by the other character... That was a bit much. We knew what would happen anyway cause it's a predictable plot so... Why?
