This graphic novel or Orwell’s 1984 is absolutely beautiful. It is dark, compelling and immerses you in Oceania and the world of Big Brother. The story is incredible and the imagery matches it perfectly. I’d recommend it to anyone.

I read it once in high school and could only grasp the concept of the plot of the novel, yet the vocabulary of the novel was so far advanced that it took me multiple times of re-reading a page to actually comprehend what the author was attempting to convey. Re-reading this again in my {insert mature age here}s has unfortunately given me the same feeling of "what did I just read?!?"... Although I understand the vocabulary now, it's constant use of scholastic verbage, phrases and terms were overall unappealing, at time perplexing and ultimately resembled an unwanted feeling of completing an assignment.
