Honestly, DNFd at 70%. The pacing was weird, I wasn’t very invested in the characters. It was a second chance romance where you could feel the unresolved love - it was clear they loved each other but certain things were just missing from this story to make it something that was unputdownable.

This was the April 2024 #readmoreindieromance buddy read! I’m still counting it as read because I kept reading after our chat happened - it just didn’t keep my attention.

Tenía mucho potencial siendo un second chance romance, pero fue demasiado lento y no se sentía una conexión entre los personajes. Además el love interest terminó siendo un idiota.

the first book of a new series is always one of my favourites. i love meeting the new characters and trying to predict who's books are coming next and what the tropes might be.

i really enjoyed jess and gray's book. it was so well written and plotted that there wasn't a moment that i thought "well, this is unnecessary filler." corinne's ability to pull the full scope of emotions from me never fails to leave me impressed.

I enjoyed reading this book, it was a easy, cute read. Although they were some talking about dealing with trauma, I liked on how this were written so realistic, like this type of trauma happens on a person it does takes time in the recovery and healing process. I liked how this is talked about in the book.

Aside from that, both characters were so inlove with each other eversince I love how they were able to rekindled their relationship. The relationship that Grayson has with his daughter was so cute, I love how he will do anything for his daughter. The chemistry was there for both characters. I love all the other characters included in the book
