This was the very first Chloe Liese books I read and for that reason, it'll always have a special place in my heart. When I read this book for the first time, I really enjoyed it but I had no idea that it was part of a series. Now I've read this book three times and I feel like I enjoy this book more everytime, especially after reading all the other Bergman Brothers books in order. I have to say that while the books could be considered standalone, I really think they are better read together, especially Oliver's book because a lot of his other siblings appear in this book. I feel like this book integrates the other Bergman family members the most put of all the books and I really love that aspect of it. I like that there are little snippets of the other siblings in this book but it still remains very much Oliver and Gavin's love story. I really enjoy the the whole sort of sunshine/grump dynamic between Oliver and Gavin. I just really love how Chloe Liese crafts her romance books and I like that every single book in the Bergman brothers series feels different and yet I enjoy all of them so much. I think out of the Bergman siblings, Oliver is probably my second favorite but Ren will always be my number one. This is my third time reading this book and I don't think I'll ever get tired of it or this series and I definitely can see myself giving this series a reread in the future. I think it is going to become an ultimate comfort series for me because I just love these books so much.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I appreciate the author's dedication to diversity. I didn't start with the first book in the series, so I don't know everyone's "thing", but it's pretty clear the way this author writes that everyone has some kind of neurodivergency or disability. Which is honestly pretty true to life, but I could also see people getting annoyed with it after several books.
I definitely think I'll read more from this author!

This book. With the usual Bergman family cameos, there is so much that happens in this book that is so damn rewarding if you’ve read the whole series.
I’m always impressed with the rep Chloe writes into her books, & this was no exception. Ollie lives with anxiety & everything about it was so damn relatable. I constantly found myself feeling seen & heard & valued.
The one bed scene will have you peeing your pants laughing!!
The way Gav & Ollie find ways to show up & take care of each other will rip your heart out & put it back together.
I could say a thousand things about this book, but most of them would be spoilers. So I’ll spare you & just demand you read the series!
While this can technically be read as a stand-alone, the book will be 1000x more enjoyable if you’ve read the whole series. So I highly recommend starting at the beginning!
✨Rep: bi & gay MCs; chronic pain; anxiety
‼️Trigger warnings: panic attacks; anxiety; death of a loved one, past; grief; anti-queer; anti-queer slur, not on page; chronic pain; sports injury
