Personally, I wouldn't consider this a slow burn, and there wasn't much enemies to lovers in this book except for the almost fight scene. Because of the 2 year jump in time, we miss out on a lot of the supposed animosity and only catch the tail end of it with some pranks and harsh words, but they pretty quickly fall into a "will they won't they" thing throughout the majority of the book. It was enjoyable, and I like both of the main characters, I just would have liked to see a little more build-up. Also, I had no idea this was a series, so you don't need to read the others before this one.

(โšฝ๏ธ) football!!!!!!! ๐Ÿ”›๐Ÿ”

corny and cringe as usual otherwise tho ๐Ÿ˜”

NOT enemies to lovers if theyโ€™re gonna have nasty thoughts 13% into the book????? and not slowburn either for sure.

shout out to oliver, gavin did not grow on me at all

the scene with the little kid talking about her parents (Freya&Aiden) was just awkward, not funny at all.

One of my favorite bergmans.  I do wish we saw more of his bond with viggo in it though.  The other books make such a big deal about them and viggo was hardly in this.

Gavin and Oliver seem like an odd couple, but they do work together. The age difference didn't matter at all, except that one man was at the start of his career and the other at the end. This book definitely focused more on Gavin's fears and the hope he later found for himself. The chemistry between them was just electric. And I loved those Bergman Brothers Summit interventions. They always made me smile. Oliver was so sweet.

This is a wonderful series if you like couples and individuals dealing with difficult issues, with plenty of steamy romance. Each book stands well on its own, but you'll get a better appreciation for the characters if you read it in order.
