Great 2nd book in the series!

This book was great, but heartbreaking.

I loved seeing the group grow closer. Of course Fawn breaks our hearts with her stories of her past.

This book got really dark in the end, but again… it only works to strengthen their bonds.

Oh my gods! I’m just sitting here staring at the ceiling after the ending of that. WHAT?! This book was so so good.

So I have to say great job on a truly hateful villain! While the who was not a surprise the amount of anger you feel towards them just shows how invested in this story I was while reading. I love that relationships are strengthening and finally developing for some but honestly this crew deserves a break to become a family. But alas with the crazy villain not letting them have peace we'll have to wait to figure out why first and then for good to prevail.

Fawn and the guys are back, and barely have time to sit and chill in this whirlwind of crazy adventures. And not all of them great. Saving the empire and avoiding assassination attempts, while tracking down information doesn’t lend much time for calm happy times.

We learn more about the guys, and they learn more about Fawn’s past, more than what the twins glean from her diaries. She and Silas continue to butt heads over the situation with Emperor Lloyd and Lethium Empire. She doesn’t trust Matthieu and is wary about Lloyd’s reasonings, and Silas doesn’t like that she doesn’t just follow orders.

Things come to a head later in the book, and we’re left with another cliffhanger. Something I didn’t truly see coming, but also wasn’t unexpected.

I received this book as an arc read and let me tell you it reels you on from the beginning. I love the twists and turns in the book. I love the character building and how much time we got with each character. I also loved the twist about at the end of the book. Again a very good read and I could not put it down and I’m not even mad about the cliffhanger.

I loved how we got so much action in this book now that we built this world in book 1. It was so intense and kept me on my toes! I love Fawn and her men, they cherish her like no other and are willing to die for her (and come back lol). I can’t wait for the final book!!

Acceptance, Answers, and more questions…
*May contain small spoilers*
Once again Lyla Winters hits another home run with part 2 of Spellbound Favors! Fawn and her guys keep trying to find answers for who is an ally and who is their enemy. A war is brewing and there is no way they will be able to stop it unless they find the answers they need. Silas has to decide whether he can see Fawns side of things when it comes the Emperor Lloyd and the Lethium Empire. Fawn also tries to see his side of things.
Beautifully written. If you’ve read part 1 - Cordially Hexed and we’re hooked from the start, you’ll love this one!!
*The cliffhanger is worse than the first book*
