This is a good book. If you don’t like tennis, it might be annoying to read. Not TJRs best, but her mediocrity is another writers best, so. Anyway- Carrie Soto is a GIRLBOSS legend

Listening to this during work was so fun! I loved the sports articles and commentators talking about the games/players, it really brought this world to life! The narrator’s British accent was so bad but it was funny.
Carrie was a great character to follow. I love me a fear-of-failure girlie because me too. She was arrogant and stubborn but I rooted for her nonetheless. Her relationship with her father was so damn heartwarming! I got so emotional during those final scenes with them together. Loved her and Bowe as well. Her interactions with Nicki was entertainingand it made me happy she ended up being her coach. Women supporting women <3
This was just a great book. The way the author described the tennis matches was like a movie, I was following along in my head. She continues to prove why she is one of my favorite authors because she simply doesn’t miss!
