So darling. What a wonderful classic book.

I thought that the ending of this book was sudden, and one of those "hurry and finish the book" type of thing. This wasn't my favorite book, but overall I really liked it.

This is a great book for young people. I remember loving it as a kid and I just read it to my 6 year old and he loved it. It also made me laugh as well, and was very fun to read aloud.

The character arc of Claudia, the relationship between Claudia and Jamie, and the super creative premise make this book remarkable.

This is my favorite book. It has been since I was a kid, I never forgot this story. I also love museums, and now am a historian. 🤷‍♀️

Don’t you love discovering little gems by chance, especially from reading other books?

Ever since I read [b:Dash & Lily's Book of Dares|7741325|Dash & Lily's Book of Dares (Dash & Lily, #1)|Rachel Cohn|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1327874609l/7741325._SX50_.jpg|10551409] back in 2011, I was tempted to find this classic of children’s literature. This year, I finally got a copy and ended up loving it. Konigsburg puts together a charming tale of two siblings who run away from home to go and live in a museum in New York. Brilliant idea! Who wouldn’t want to do that? The story while set in the late 1960s is also timeless, and not what I was expecting. The few illustrations were a surprising bonus.

N.B. I do recommend this particular edition since they have used fabulous Munken paper!
