Absolutely  l delightful despite the fact that CS Lewis warns the reader not to shut themselves in wardrobes, no joke, four times

An entertaining read overall, a bit slower paced than expected. There are some parts that are problematic, but they can be equated with period-typical sexism and the need for YA books to have teenagers fight other people's wars.

Even tho I love reading all this new ya books and they are fun and all but sometimes I miss to read some classic children books that makes you feel like a child again. And this book is perfect example of that. It just brings back memories when my dad would read or tell us stories before going to bed.

I adore these characters, but being more familiar with the films, I was expecting action, nuance, and detail that was done so well on screen. Still a fun, quick read that’s very well written.

"Once a King in Narnia, always a King in Narnia. But don't go trying to use the same route twice. Indeed, don't try to get there at all. It'll happen when you're not looking for it."

is there a better time to read this book than Christmas time? I do not think so. I've been waiting to read The Chronicles of Narnia for so long, I grew up watching the movies and cried with Aslan's sacrifice, fell in love with Caspian (ben barnes, I am looking at you). I decided to read them in the old order (published order) bc I feel like that's the one I will like (also I do really wanted to read this one first and Caspian second so there's that).

It took me less than a day to read this one (this is the second book I finish today) it was such a quick and nice read, cannot wait to read the rest, let us hope I do not fall into fantasy slump (again).

I was listening to Young God by Halsey & Champion by Barns Courtney

'kay, I'm out

When 4 siblings visit an enchanting world there are lots of adventures and magical creatures! The characters are memorable and wel-developed. I enjoyed how the narrator spoke directly to the reader.
