Is it ironic that I listened to the audiobook of this because I struggle to read paper books these days? :P
Some of this stuff will be familiar to anyone who has seen The Social Dilemma or has previously read up on the negative effects of social media. Still, I learned plenty of new information about the brain, and I think parents of young children may find this a surprising resource for child development advice. Additionally, the author makes a strong case that the "Attention Crisis" (as he puts it) is far more serious and widespread than many of us are aware of. I'm not exactly sold on his proposed solutions, but this is still a book that I believe everyone should read.
