Comparatively, this book is missing something that made The Last Olympian so stellar. The latter was one massive battle after a four-book lead-up, while The Blood of Olympus felt more like two separate battles that seem to be over relatively quickly. The fight against the Titans only lasts a chapter or so; it took two books to get to that point, and it's over like that. The thing between Nico and Will also feels rushed at the last minute to make way for another series.

However, it was still an enjoyable read, and much better than the first book in the series,

Review of the book + series in general.
A bit weaker than HOH but still good.
Ending was nice.

I loved Nico and Reyna, I loved their journey, their development and their friendship.
These parts were tense but the rest somehow wasn't. It was a very relaxing read despite the high stakes which was a bit odd.
I found the break between the fight against the giants and against Gaia a bit off-putting. It was a nice moment! But I was just thinking about Gaia.
No percabeth Moment AT ALL.

Surprisingly I think I like the PJO books more than the HOO books.
Both series have their respective strenghts and I loooove the characters of HOO just so much but...
HOO simply lacks the depth of PJO. Luke was a fantastic antagonist. The journey had meaning. Here it kind of did not. HOH is the only book that delves into deeper waters with the topic of consequences but the rest of the books is just "gaia bad, Gods bad but better than giants". Which isn't bad by itself!! Just in comparison to PJO.....

Let us all face it we are at times displeased with how our favorite stories end for a number of reasons, but I was not disappointed with how Riordan ended this series. You're given everything you could possibly want with happy endings, glorious battles, and at the edge of your seat moments you are left questioning it all. It all does justice to the start of it all with Percy's story to all seven demigods and company. What is even best is the various characters we have with different backgrounds and real life issues we all have lived. Once again I am impressed by Riordan's books. I cannot wait to read what is coming next.

Dejando de lado el hecho de que he terminado una de mis sagas favoritas, y los sentimientos y todo ese rollo, pasemos a la reseña:

El libro me ha encantado, una vez que llegué a la mitad no pude parar de reír. Y el capítulo en el que los dioses bajan a ayudar a sus hijos me emocionó de muchas maneras.

Lo que menos/no me gustó:

· Que Percy no tiene su propio Punto de Vista, siendo que toda esta historia comenzó con él. No entiendo cómo Rick no pudo darle una narración en esta última entrega.

· Que, ademas de no tener un POV, Percy tampóco parece ser el personaje importante que en verdad es. Este punto es un pco más difícil de explica, así que pido atención. Percy aparece durante todo el libro, por decirlo de alguna forma, y sí es referido como un semidios realmente poderoso e importante, sin embargo, por aluna razón, no lo sentí igual de importante que en los otros libros de los Heroes del Olimpo, ni hablar de la primera saga. Una gran decepción.

· Algunos chistes. Siempre me ha opinado que estos libros intentan demasiado implementar el humor. Y algunos chistes solo son graciosos en inglés.

· No tiene un final cerrado. Me encanta que la historia aún no termine-tengo muchas ganas de leer Las Pruebas de Apolo-, pero no me gustó que el final fuese tan abierto. Hay demasiados cabos sueltos.

· Que el trío original de Percy, Annabeth y Grover no tuviese un momento en el cierre de la historia.

Lo que más me gustó/ lo que más destaco:

· Me dejó un buen sabor en la boca.

· Me encantó la participacion de mi querido Nico. En toda su gloria y esplandor. *inserte gif de Mushu diciendo "Mi bebe salió a acabar con los malos"*

· Percy.

· Percabeth.

· Lo que vemos de Reyna en este libro. Nunca me había fijado mucho en ella, pero gracias a La Sangre del Olimpo la veo con otros ojos.

· La hermosa amistad que se desarrolló entre Nico y Reyna.

· Solangelo.
· He terminado la saga amando a todas su heroínas. (Al principio, ni Reyna ni Hazel me llamaban demasiado)

· Tengo muchas de ganas de saber qué fue de Apolo en Las Pruebas de Apolo.
