Insta love Sad past
Dual POV Found family
Forced proximity

I’m not a big fan of insta love, I feel like they move too fast without getting to know each other. Yes I know that’s the point

I sooo enjoyed this Indie author debut!! Attracted by the cover with puppies and pitch perfect fall vibes, this dual POV, forced proximity, small town romance was a heartwarming cozy season read perfect for fans of Gilmore girls!

Struggling author and nomad Beth is running from her past trauma when her car breaks down on the side of the road, only to have Evan, ex-Marine turned local Inn-keeper help her out and offer her both a place to stay and work for as long as she needs. Beth only promises to stay for sixty days but can't resist falling for the charm of the Inn and all its people as she works to help them save the Inn from defaulting on a bank loan.

This book was full of found family, emotional depth and a beautiful romance that I couldn't have enjoyed more! Highly recommended for fans of Part of your world by Abby Jimenez or Astrid Parker doesn't fail by Ashley Blake (two other small town stories featuring Inns and small town charm).

Can I add another five stars? This was the best debut I have ever read. I felt like I was coming home to Freedom Valley every time I picked up this book and read a chapter. This town was a true example of "Stars Hollow"
Evan is an ex-marine who loves saving people. He brought Mellie and her Son Kase to the Inn when they were having trouble. Now he sees Beth on the side of the road and he knows he needs to stop and help. The minute he meets her, he falls but can he get her to stop running.
Beth Is a nomad that travels around writing books. She doesn't stay anywhere very long. This way she doesn't get attached. Evan made it hard for her to keep that going. He tows her car, gets her room and board for free at his Inn and is so easy on the eyes. She just can't help but to fa!l a little too. All that doesn't matter though because Beth is adamant about leaving. Or is she?
This debut is an incredible contemporary romance with two amazing characters that just jump off the page. Beth was real and relatable. I really want to read more by this author.

Beth is on the run, from her past, her grief, and herself. When more bad luck strikes and causes a break down it just might be some good luck in disguise. Rescued by Evan, owner and care-taker of the local Inn, he has the reputation for taking in all who need a fresh start while battling his own demons.

Featuring found family, forced proximity, a slow-burn, and facing your grief, this was an emotional and quick read. I devoured Beth and Evan’s story. The cast of characters all fit together beautifully and share banter, love, and the hardships. A fight to save the inn, facing fears, and a dose of denying happiness this was everything I needed to break up my current reads.

Beth is sheltered and closed off so the majority of the story is only hinting at her past. While it is a tragic unfolding, I hyped it up just a bit more and was frustrated when I felt the explosion of growth she showed just to come across as shutting back down. Worth powering through and understanding it’s all a bigger part of her character healing? Absolutely. Her passion and love, even when she attempts to hide it, is so pure and the effort she throws into saving the inn with Evan is beautiful.

I can’t wait to see the future of other characters and of course Beth and Evan. A highly recommended book if you’re looking for that hallmark vibe romance.

This was a super cute book to get you in the fall feels. If you love a good hallmark romance movie, this book is for you. I honestly loved that this book jumped right into the characters, but I felt like the character development was SO quick that it didn’t give me time to fully connect with them. I still really liked it though and I’m sure her second book will be even better! I love forward to Allie’s story!

Very cute story!

Beth, a writer, gets stranded in a small town when experiencing car troubles. Small town resident, Evan, comes to her rescue and has her stay at his families inn for as long as she needs. Beth has a past that she doesn’t want others to know about but along the way she starts to open up. Find out what happens in this romantic, hallmark worthy book by getting yourself a copy!

Quick easy read. Perfect book to get you in the mood for fall! I loved the characters. Everything just seemed so easy for them though, I was hoping for a little more of a conflict. The individual characters do have their own past stories to tell and conflict within themselves.

This book is a day binge worthy book! I literally read this book in the matter of a day!

Beth’s car breaks down just outside of Freedom Valley New Hampshire. When a handsome stranger offers a ride and a place to stay Beth can’t help but accept the offer. Evans family owns a struggling Inn and there trying to figure out how to save it before the end of the year. Beth and Evan both have their struggles and secrets but they both might be able to help each other.

This book!! This book!! Oh my goodness I could not put this book down. Erin is such an amazing writer, I felt like I was in New Hampshire in the fall which has always been my dream. This book is such a perfect cozy fall read. It’s a slow burn with little spice literally two scenes that are so perfectly done. You fall in love with not only the two main characters but also the side characters. I love every person in this book. I am ready for book two I’m hoping for more of Millie or Allie.
