I found the beginning a bit confusing, but the more the story progressed the cleared things got.

I like the main character and find the side ones interesting. Will read more asap!

Twittering Birds Never Fly is one of my all-time favorite manga series in this genre. I've been following each chapter release for over a decade and jumping on the English paperback releases. I have cried, I have laughed, I have gasped. I have felt fear, anger, love, compassion, empathy, and anxiety throughout this series.

This series should come with 20+ million trigger warnings. It explores a lot of complicated and questionable themes. But... it works for the story. It works for the universe. You will fall for the characters regardless of the premise.

Discretion should however be taken and I recommend checking the themes to see if it's to your flavour first.

This was an interesting start to a series I've always been meaning to read. It's one of the classic Yaoi I've got on my Must-Read list, but it was a little more confusing than I expected. The initial couple of the book seem to have had only one chapter dedicated to them, and then never reappeared again, which was surprising and confusing. Yet, I do like the "main" couple and how interesting they are, both in dynamic and with their background stories.

Triggers for historical sexual abuse by a family member, dub-con, and impotence.
