You get to see Dorothy flex her technical prowess with the triple sonnet while also writing amazing poems that evoke the senses through use of Hollywood glamour inspired imagery as well as poems about food.

I’m not a huge poetry person, but I had to read this book for class. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed it! A few poems stood out to me more than others, but overall I think Dorothy Chan is incredibly talented.
