This had me "coming and going" for 4 days. I thought I knew what was going on and changed my ideas and opinion of the characters 4 or 5 times a day. Well done! Excellent ending too.

It was a quick read on my mini-vacay. I was definitely engaged, wanted to know what happened... wanted to get to the end as quick as possible to know how it turned out. There were some parts that felt forced and could've been done better, but overall, really a fun read.

DID NOT FINISH: 34%

It was boring. The dialogue was jarring and unnatural. None of the journal entries seemed loke something anyone would write in a journal. It was like bad fan-fiction.

I was drawn in by the concept of this story of a woman with some form of uber-amnesia trying to exist when she has to be reintroduced to her life every single day. You get sucked into the main conflict at the end of the brief first section. After that, the story starts to devolve very quickly. I kept reading because I hoped something thrilling would happen. Even when things start to unravel and the truth is finally revealed (which you will totally guess, or at the very least you won't be surprised) you're glad the book is nearly over.

I had some trouble with the choice to introduce the middle section as Christine's journal. It reads more as a narrative than as journal entries - some lazy combination of both. Also, I think it's crazy that we have suspend belief that her family, most notably her son did not check in on her at all. She was seemingly abandoned by her family and friends. That is RIDICULOUS to me. Also, Dr. Nash is untrustworthy, and wouldn't he lose his license for circumventing so many rules of medicine and patient care and access? So many holes, and implausibilities in this story. But still, I kept reading. It was engaging enough to make me hope for more.

reading this book made me think of many different scenarios of how it was a crime thriller, until i got to the last 50 pages, where i was literally speechless. i was so invested in it. i did initially think to myself that the book would be repetitive, with the main character having no recollection of her memories prior to that day, and i thought i would get bored quickly, however, the book is so compelling and the pace of the book is immaculate.
