DON'T F[BLEEP]K WITH THE COLOUREDS is a 3-star book with a 10-star cover. I'm not going to lie, 99% of the reason I purchased this book was for the cover alone. I had to have it. I don't know how that cover has not yet been banned. It's incredible. Behind the cover are three stories: the titular Don't F[BLEEP]k with the Coloured, Retrograde and Night of the Day of the Chosen Folks.

The book displays Duza's range of story telling. The opening salvo was a gonzo Who Framed Roger Rabbit type story. The meat in the story sandwich is Retrograde, my personal favorite of the collection and a twisted time loop tale. The final was a quick condemnation piece on the emptiness of Hollywood fame.

All in all, an enjoyable read. I gave it three stars only because I don't think a single one of these stories will 'stick to my ribs' over time. Still, the book contains three fun stories to read and there ain't nothing wrong with that. Buy it for the cover, keep it out on your coffee table and let it serve as a conversation piece of elegant dinner parties in your home, you high-falutin Hollywood A-List celebrity you!
