I listened to this on audiobook and I really enjoyed the narration. I have spent a lot of time in nursing homes, my mom has worked in one since I was a child and I also worked there for many years. It was easy for me to connect to the older characters, and I was moved by the types of struggles they face that are touched on in this book. It's a very funny murder mystery for sure, but there is depth as well. I laughed out loud, but I teared up and cried too.

Absolutely fantastic!! The pages flew by with such speed and the book gave me such comfort. Fell in love with all the amazing characters and couldn't get enough of the shocking twists! The second I was so sure to guess what's next I was proven wrong. In addition, this book gives such a new special twist on murder mysteries! Never knew I'll be so captivated by a group of pensioners solving mysteries and even wanting more!! Can't wait to buy and read the next book in the series <3

Really enjoyable book. Easy and fast read. Satisfying ending. But nothing groundbreaking, so not a 5 star for me. But still would recommend

I found this book quite slow to get into and for the plot to progress to being more fast paced. The ending and wrapping up of the loose ends was really disappointing for a murder mystery plot. The main characters were funny, yet frustrating, at times but all round kept me hooked into the book when the plot progression was pushing me away.
