The Thursday Murder Club meet every week to solve cold cases in their quiet, cozy retirement village. Until there is a murder right at their front door. They know they are the perfect group to solve this murder, even if it means messing with the police investigation in the mean time. A quick, fun, quirky cozy mystery that takes a unique approach by making the main characters septuagenarians. I enjoyed reading this and was satisfied with the resolution to the mystery. I don’t think it will be the most memorable mystery for me but it was still fun while I read it. I might put the next book in the series on hold from the library but am not rushing to get to it. I can see why everyone loved this book.

This was an enjoyable read for me and the wry humor was very endearing. I love a good murder mystery. The only thing that didn’t do it for me was the wrap-up at the end. It got a little confusing and felt a bit rushed given the complexity of the story. But overall it was quite the charming book.

Loved it. The humor is brilliant. I guessed some murderers but not full reasons why and there were more that I didn't know!
