Let's start by saying that it was a really enjoyable and fun read.
Things I liked :
The idea of a whole latinx crew and cast.
The production was amaziiiing.
The way we followed both the characters and their parts in the show was something I really enjoyed.
The side characters were great ( especially Michelle, I liked her a lot)
Side note : I really like the leading lady plan!!!

The only thing is that I felt like the characters were a bit immature and inexperienced for someone who has worked on camera a long time, but overall it was very entertaining.

this was fun and quick but i didn’t really vibe with the story(especially character decisions) and the writing style. LOVE the cover tho

Súper fun and cute read!

I absolutely loved this book! The premise, the representation, the progression and narrators were all amazing! However, I didn't like the conflict between Jasmine and Ashton at the end. Ashton said some really horrible things to Jasmine. While he felt bad and apologized, I didn't like how Jasmine was shifting some of the burden to herself and felt it was her fault. That was my only reason for a 4 stars, because other than that - it was such a fun and enjoyable read!

Jasmine has a Leading Lady Plan that she thinks can't fail, but when she is cast along the famous telenovela star Ashton Suarez she gets caught up in his steamy good looks and trying to get him to open up.

A diverse romance novel featuring Latinx characters? Yay! And that's sort of where I have to leave my excitement unfortunately.
The characters themselves felt flat and too trope-y for my tastes and even though I know what I'm getting into when it comes to romance, this one reads too much like the telenovelas that clearly inspired it. By about 50 pages into the novel, I knew exactly what was going to happen almost down to the detail. I only persisted in continuing because it came highly recommended from LibraryReads.

I probably would only recommend this one to readers that are monogamous to the romance genre or someone that requests a diversity read.

I have been reviewing for long enough to just write "Worst Book Ever" and not elaborate. But Fuck It.
Worst Book Ever. Zero chemistry, poor writing. So Sooo Bad.
