Had such a good interesting start. I could feel the chemistry between the main leads, but once it all went to shit, I disliked how our FMC handled the climax of the story. It was giving I need it to be all about me. Totally on the side of ‘you need to relax and use your brain’!!!

meh. that's all i really got to say about this. it was... fine? i think my biggest issue was that i was never truly rooting for jasmine and ashton. everything about their relationship felt forced, and there was very little time between meeting, sleeping together, and declaring their love for each other. that was kinda a deal breaker for me. plus, the argument at the end of the book was so nasty, who would take someone back after such hurtful things were said? idk, i just didn't believe it.

also, i felt like i was told everything instead of shown it. like we're told jasmine is clingy, but we don't really see it? the writing just came across as a little basic for me, and that was another factor in me not connecting to the story.

overall it was fine, but nothing to write home about, tbh.
