disappointed to be disappointed… i had such high hopes, but it was just meh? sapphic romcoms are basically a super rare species, so it hurts even more to say that i just didn’t enjoy this book all that much. 
the author does convey some pretty important messages, and overall it wasn’t a complete disaster, but yeah… *sigh*

This was pretty good, a little cringey and sappy at times (tbh I got so sick of them crying and hugging every single chapter) but I enjoyed it. I'm obsessed with the cover- I feel like it's the only time the people on the front matched my mental image of the characters. The spice was pretty good and I felt like opal and pepper were well-rounded and developed as characters
