What did i just read? This was genuinely one of the most engaging books i’ve read straight from the jump. You didn’t have to “get into it” at all (which is good because it’s a short book), but every page made me want to keep reading. It’s also pretty different from my usual reads, and my first Auster book. I REALLY enjoyed it, and will definitely read more of his work. Genuinely amazing start to finish. Everything was pretty much perfect: writing, plot, pace, characters. Such a fun book.
