I was pleasantly surprised. I truly didn't expect that plot twist in the first story and it made it even more interesting from there on out, keeping me engaged.

And the ironic part was that the serial killer was more concerned about the future of his "daughter" than the other fathers with their OWN children.

Nevertheless the first story contributed to the continued reading of the book but the rest kept me on the edge. Only the last story 'The writer' confused me, i didn't understand the ending.

The title short story was really "enjoyable" to read, but the rest failed to capture my interest. Maybe on a reread I will enjoy it more.

I didn't realize they were short stories. I thought the description on the back was the entire book not just the first story... I'm not a fan of short stories because I can't get into the characters and storylines enough to my liking. The writing is dense and confusing for the first story. Not wanting to continue at this time.
