this book in one word, would be bleak. since until the end we didn't really get the whole story of what's going on, it's really interesting to find out from little moments of the narrator's dialogue to just get the ambience of the story. i really enjoyed it, and in my opinion it was quite suspenseful as well.

The MC is a former serial killer and in his olden days, in present time, Alzheimer's rotting his brain. This book is all of his inner monologue. Some parts in this book are unclear, because his mind is like that. You'll feel the confusion through his words. This book gives me more view and depth of what Alzheimer feels like (though it's totally fiction). Crime themed book yang gak bikin pusing-pusing amat. If you want to read crime themed novel but still want a light reading, this book will totally do it for you.

I read the first story "Diary of a Murderer" and chose to DNF after that. I think I just need to come to terms with the fact that short stories just don't work for me.
This took me days to finish, my god. The author should have just written the title story and called it a day. The other stories were boring, which brought down my rating.
