I love the new characters and their stories so far, and there were only a couple frames with the teeth detail that I don’t like. I’m glad we got a bit more of a glimpse into Kasuga’s thoughts and heart in this volume.

I am SO grateful to have found this series of manga 🥹 Honestly, I squeal with excitement every time I open a copy on my Kindle 😂

This one hits hardest for sure, and I will include content warnings below 😫
I learned, from the content warnings before certain chapters, what deipnophobia was too. I feel sad but simultaneously appreciative 🥲

I liked the introduction of Yakoさん, a long time follower of Nomotoさん‘s social media, too! She gave me such good vibes 🔥

5 out of 5 stars for me, of course ✨ Thank you 🏳️‍🌈

We’re back with my favorite ladies and what an interesting volume. I enjoyed this one but not as much as the first two, maybe because there was such a gap? I’m not sure, but I still enjoyed it enough to want the next one (if there is one!)

Nomoto is also coming to terms with her sexuality more and makes a new friend, a follower of hers Yako. Nomoto confides in Yako that she likes Kasuga but that she hasn’t seen any lesbian media that portrays her journey with her sexuality, Yako tells her that she could be Asexual or be on that spectrum.

I did enjoy this for what it was and I liked the introduction of two new characters, I think I’d like to see a little more interaction between Kasuga and Nomoto and maybe them actually confessing feelings, I’m all for slow burn but I just need them to admit their feelings to each other already 😂

Things start to get down to the nitty-gritty. A bit more is revealed about the family background of both women and we are introduced to a new character which I instantly liked. All the chapters containing difficult topics got a warning note at the start, so I could choose to read them at the right time.
I also think it's so funny and cool that 90% of the translation notes are just explanations of japanese dishes and food traditions.
