I love the new characters and their stories so far, and there were only a couple frames with the teeth detail that I don’t like. I’m glad we got a bit more of a glimpse into Kasuga’s thoughts and heart in this volume.

Things start to get down to the nitty-gritty. A bit more is revealed about the family background of both women and we are introduced to a new character which I instantly liked. All the chapters containing difficult topics got a warning note at the start, so I could choose to read them at the right time.
I also think it's so funny and cool that 90% of the translation notes are just explanations of japanese dishes and food traditions.
