The story wasn’t outstanding, but I adore the characters. It was a delight to return to the Continent. I look forward to starting the next instalment.

Soy oficialmente una simp de Yennefer y fan #1 de su relación con Ciri.
Si ignoramos las conductas predatorias de Geralt y Jaskier, y la constante mención de los senos de personajes femeninos, es un libro muy disfrutable.

I read The Last Wish and The Sword of Destiny (the short story collections) before reading this novel, and I highly recommend others also start with the short story collections. The short stories introduce a ton of the characters and tell some really foundational adventures that are referenced in this novel and, I’m sure, later on in the series as well.
Sapkowski really knows how to manage pace and setting to immerse the reader in his scenes. Plot-wise, there is constant motion, but not so much that it’s constantly stressful—and that’s something that bothers me a lot in fiction, when there’s so much happening that the characters don’t get a second to catch their breath. But also, I don’t want it to be packed with so much scenery description or down time for the characters that it’s boring. And I know that’s a really hard line to walk, so I applaud that here. Definitely recommend this but for your own sake, read the short stories before jumping in to this one! It’ll make the experience much richer.

I liked the short story (first 2 books)...but I didn't enjoy this
Too..? ....Too ... I really don't know
Maybe the translation is bad
It felt disjointed
