The story was not that I expected. But it turns out to just good, even great. I love the message of this manga.

A great sequel and heartwarming conclusion to a wonderful story! There were so many great moments it's hard to keep track of them all, but my absolute favorite was when Yaichi told of Kana's homeroom teacher regarding Mike. I loved how Yaichi effectively told him to punish the bullies, not the bullied in a tactful yet firm way and nearly did a victory lap around my room because THANK YOU FOR EXPLAINING THE PROPER WAY OF HANDLING BULLYING, EVERY EDUCATIONAL AUTHORITY FIGURE SHOULD TAKE NOTE OF THIS. But I also loved how Mike recognizes the hypocrisy of Katoyan's actions; he says he doesn't feel the need to proclaim his sexuality, but will go to great lengths to hide it. Not that I disagree with Katoyan, I completely understand why he would want to keep it a secret, but his words do not mesh with his actions. Overall, this was a great conclusion to a short series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I definitely recommend this to any manga/graphic novel fan, especially if they want to get into manga. Loved it!

Again, this continues to shed light on the lack of acceptance that’s still prevalent but also delivers the message that there is an opportunity for change and the ability to heal through love.

Beautiful, gentle, tender, and deeply compassionate. I wish this was required reading for everyone everywhere.

I teared up a few times but managed not to cry. Until the end. It got me at the end, dammit.

I can't recommend this highly enough.

This series is so good, I am glad I was able to find it in English. Some beautiful scenes are so heartwarming, and some great information and things to think about. I still highly recommended this comic.
