It's still as amazing as the first time I read it. A very good kick off to such a phenomenal series.
I really enjoyed rereading this book and diving back into what started my journey with Harry Potter and the wizarding world way back in the day. I thought this particular edition was fun with all the illustrations and popups. As for the story itself the magicalness and nostalgia totally grabbed me and having read all 7 books I caught more misdirections and things being set up than when I used to pour over and read and reread this book when I was little before all 7 books were out. Overall I just quite enjoyed rereading this book that started such a big part of my childhood and falling back into the wizarding world.

When I was younger I read this book more times than I can count. After a recent Harry Potter movie marathon, I was inspired to pick it up again, and I’m pleased to say the magic hasn’t died with the passing of the years.
