I.WAS.BORED!!!!! That about sums up why I gave this book 2 stars. Cal was so childish and annoying and took everything the wrong way. She was just down right irritating. The only time I cared for Relian was when he was being a soldier (which were basically the only parts I liked, the battles). The romance was boring, even when they finally had sex (which was at freaking 96%) it was nothing to write home about. I will not be continuing this series.

This reminds me a lot of the tale of Beren and Luthien. A very well thought out fantasy romance.
