Oooof. I feel sad that this didn’t live up to the hype. It was super slow and then the end was so fast and random sex scenes thrown in right at the end? felt like it could have been much better paced and even more than one book. Idk just ok

I COULD NOT STOP THIS READING THIS ONE. I love anything Ali Hazelwood writes. I devoured it. I was hesitant to read this one because it is fantasy and not her typical style but it was an easy 5 Star that I could not put down. An adventurous story that takes place in a world of humans, werewolves, and vampires. An arranged marriage between a werewolf and a vampire had me wondering where this was going but oh my gosh was it amazing. I think this may be her spiciest novel yet.

this book is like if stephanie meyer was brave enough to make twilight extremely horny instead of being a mormon freak. i can’t really say i enjoyed it, but i also didn’t hate all of it (though i still can’t get over that her name is Misery). i DO NOT want to discuss the spicy scenes.
