This was a nice book but it wasn't for me. I think if you are someone that enjoys the majority of a book being about "should I be with him or no?" then I think this book is for you. I enjoy monster romances and this was a nice monster romance but it did fall flat for me. Some of the issues I had with this book is the length (way too short), how about 70% of the book is the MC trying to get rid of the Love Interest, and not much smut or plot. The characterization was okay and I did enjoy the writing style itself but I felt bored most of the time with the characters, the lack of plot or smut and the ending was just meh.

I think this book had a lot of potential and I would honestly say that this would have been better if there was about 200 more pages, a little bit more intricate plot to follow and a quick polish of the characterization to get that area to shine. This book came off as a monster romance with a lot of smut and it did not deliver. I think the Love interest should have had more of a personality than he was given with the MC (obvi we do get his thoughts from his side but she doesn't see any of that).

Mated to the Monster

This is a super quick read that I absolutely loved! It is a instalove romance between a shadow/ demon and a human. I wish there was more story than them meeting and after a quick amount of time, deciding their destiny. It was a great HEA.

well who knows demon can be a ~~gentleman~~ gentle-demon 😉
