I enjoyed reading this coming of age comics story about a teen girl moving to a new town. She’s going through changes at home, while trying to make new friends at school. The characters are all well drawn and characterized to be distinguishable and clearly read. 

It’s made for a teen audience but I enjoyed it and found its construction and themes quite sophisticated, considering its target audience.

This book would be a great recommendation for middle grade and high school girls who are struggling to navigate the sexualization of their growing bodies. It explores teens' growing awareness of the complexity of relationships without every going too dark. It hits a great balance for the young teen audience that so often gets overlooked in newer YA publications, especially because it does explore some hard topics that young folks may face, without getting overly graphic with the details.
